Keine Ahnung, ob dieses Graphic novel schon übersetzt wurde, ich habe es im Original gelesen und bin wirklich begeistert!Lewis Helfand stellt uns die Lebensbiographien von Thomas Alva Edison, Alexander Graham Bell und Nicola Tesla parallel, gemäß der Zeit und der Höhepunkte der Erfindungen verwoben im Graphic Novel dar.Nicht nur zeichnerisch und bildhaft gelungen, es ist hoch spannend, sehr persönlich und dramatisch. Drei Wissenschaftler, drei Lebenswege, die sich manchmal auch kreuzten, drei wichtige Persönlichkeiten, die der Menschheit wichtige und heute unerlässliche Erfindungen bescherten, ich las oft atemlos vom Wettstreit, von der Konkurrenz und dann wieder dem Auseinanderdriften der Lebensschwerpunkte.Der Leser darf begleiten bis zum Tod, und ich war nach Beenden des Comics noch lange sehr bewegt. Wie dramatisch die Lebensinhalte waren, wie abwechslungsreich und stressig, wie traurig und einsam und wie fleißig und unermüdlich.Ich bin regelrecht sprachlos und bin mir sicher, es waren alle drei Männer außergewöhnliche Menschen, auch wenn mich das Leben und Ende von Nicola Tesla weit mehr berührte, ich denke, diese Leben wären nie so verlaufen, wenn es vielleicht auch nicht gerade der Zahn der Zeit gewesen wäre!Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Werk!
